Influencer marketing in India, explained plainly.

The short version of everything on this site. No sign-up, no gate, nothing hidden behind an animation.

KRATOVIX is an influencer marketing agency for Indian brands. We plan and run creator campaigns — from national product launches to single-store activations — choosing creators on audience relevance, geography, language and credibility rather than follower count alone. We work across Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 India, in English, Hindi and regional languages, for brands in fashion, beauty, FMCG, food, retail, D2C, e-commerce and more. Core services: creator discovery and shortlisting, audience and credibility analysis, regional and hyperlocal campaigns, campaign management and negotiation, UGC, and reporting.

What is influencer marketing?

Influencer marketing means paying or partnering with a content creator so they introduce your product to an audience that already trusts them. It works because the recommendation carries the creator's credibility, not just an advertising budget.

How does influencer marketing work in India?

An Indian campaign usually runs through an agency that shortlists creators, negotiates rates and manages content approvals end to end. Because India is linguistically and regionally diverse, a campaign that works in Mumbai often needs a different creator, language and format in Indore or Guwahati.

How do brands choose the right influencer?

The right influencer is chosen on audience overlap, geography, language and credibility — not on follower count. A creator with a smaller but genuinely relevant audience usually outperforms a larger, generic one against a specific objective.

What is micro-influencer marketing?

Micro-influencer marketing means working with creators who typically have 10,000 to 100,000 followers. Micro creators usually carry higher engagement and more tightly defined audiences, which suits trust-building and conversion-focused campaigns.

What is hyperlocal influencer marketing?

Hyperlocal influencer marketing means choosing creators specifically because their audience lives in one city, neighbourhood or store catchment. It is built for store visits, single-city launches and regional offers, where national reach would mostly be wasted spend.

How much does influencer marketing cost in India?

Campaigns commonly start around ₹50,000 for a small micro-creator activation and scale past ₹50 lakh for multi-city programmes. A single micro-creator reel in a Tier 2 city typically costs ₹8,000–₹40,000, depending on platform, format, geography and usage rights.

How do you measure influencer campaign results?

Measurement is agreed before a campaign goes live — tracked links, creator-specific coupon codes, or store-level footfall and billing data for offline campaigns. Awareness, sales and store-visit campaigns each need a different metric; mixing them up is the most common reporting mistake.

How do you evaluate creator credibility?

Credibility is checked through comment quality, follower-growth shape, audience overlap between creators, and view-to-follower ratio — not engagement rate alone. Engagement rate is the easiest number in this industry to manufacture, so it's one input, never the deciding one.

What's the difference between reach and relevant reach?

Reach is how many people could see a post; relevant reach is how many of them could actually become a customer. A creator with 500,000 followers can have fewer relevant followers in your city and age group than a creator with 50,000.

Micro or macro — when should a brand use which?

Use micro creators for trust, geographic precision and volume of authentic content; use macro creators for fast, broad recognition on a launch. Most well-built campaigns use both — macro for the announcement, micro for the proof.

How can retailers use influencer marketing for store launches?

A store launch typically uses 8–15 micro and nano creators whose audience lives inside that store's catchment, briefed for in-store, visit-intent content. Attribution runs on offer codes redeemed at the till, so footfall lift is measured, not assumed.

How can D2C brands use creators for product launches?

D2C launches typically pair one or two larger creators for initial reach with a wider set of micro creators for authentic, repeated proof. Every creator gets a unique code or link, so revenue tracks back to the individual creator, not just the campaign.

How does regional influencer marketing work?

Regional influencer marketing means briefing creators in their own language — Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese and others — for a specific state or language market. It usually outperforms a translated national campaign, because the content is made for that audience, not adapted for it.
